From September 2025, we have unfortunately had to increase the price of a school lunch to £2.80 per day. Please see the letter at the end of the page for more information.

From September 2026, Nursery lunches will be charged separately to fees at a rate of £2.65 per day.

School Meals

Please order your school meals for the whole week, where possible. We do understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so please contact the office if you need to order or change a school meal option. Please just give us as much notice as you can! 

All children in KS1 are entitled to a Universal Free School Meal. However if you think your child would be entitled to a Free School meal anyway, please let the school office know as we can advise who to contact. There may be extra funding available for school to use to benefit your child if you do qualify.

Arbor

School meals now need to be booked and paid for online using your parent portal on Arbor. However, currently you may also send in cash or cheques (made payable to ERYC). 

Allergens

Our School Dinners may contain allergens.

If your child has any special dietary requirements, please let the school office know so we can cater for them and add them to your child's information.

Please note, the vegetarian menu is only available to children who are known to us as being vegetarian. We do not have the facility to store a huge amount in our micro kitchen, so unfortunately we cannot offer the vegetarian menu choices to everyone. 

Packed Lunches

The school will provide a storage area for packed lunch bags, in the most convenient and appropriate place possible. However the school cannot provide cooled storage areas and therefore cannot take legal responsibility for foods prepared at home and then brought into school.  

It is recommended that parents/carers provide a packed lunch in line with the School Food Standards using an appropriate container that can store food items until lunchtime.  Parents may want to consider an ice pack, or insulated packaging for any food items that require it. Hot foods should not be sent in to school as part of a packed lunch for Food Safety and Health and Safety reasons.
